Verdict
It will be interesting to see how Richard Hannon's James Barrymore, a son of Fraam, shapes up in the market on his debut but he will need to be useful to get the better of CAFE GRECO, who is preferred to Advertisement. Jeremy Noseda's colt ran promisingly on his debut when a close fourth behind Quarrel in an Ascot maiden and he has to be respected after that effort. Saeed Bin Suroor has the Godolphin team in good heart at present so Navy List cannot be discounted but he needs to improve dramatically from his debut outing at Newmarket last month to get involved at the business end of the race. Mick Channon's Aattash has the benefit of experience but has been readily held in all three starts, while Marco Botti's Kavak disappointed at Yarmouth last time but may do better on a faster surface today. The vote though goes to Peter Makin's Cafe Greco who has run well in both starts so far and he is taken to build on a promising outing behind Blakey's Boy at Salisbury last time.
