Franny Norton stole the race on Molinia when successful at Wolverhampton two starts ago and may struggle to resume winning ways off her new mark here so preference is for Acorazado, who is taken to confirm recent form with Ballygriffin Kid. The last mentioned has improved again of late for being stepped up in trip but has two lengths to find with the selection on running behind Sorbiesharry at Wolverhampton last week and should not reverse the form on only 1lb better terms. John Berry's Diamond Max ran better over course and distance last time and cannot be ruled out but has to give weight away all round, while both Phluke and Blaeberry lack any recent form and are probably best watched on their reappearance runs. Russian Applause and In Dream's have both been freshened up by breaks but they will need to have improved to get the better of Acorazado, who is taken to gain a deserved first success of the campaign.
