      Verdict

      Better is expected from Dawn Lightning, who was a well beaten second on her recent debut at Leicester behind a David Evans-trained runner. The latter should have a good handle on the form and he runs two here. Si Sealy has plenty of speed in his pedigree and could figure on his first start, but UMPH was beaten only a head at Kempton a week ago and he gets the vote. Joey Hayes may need more time after fading quickly at Doncaster last week and newcomer Ermyn Flyer looks nothing special on breeding.
