Verdict

Bonus is 4lbs better off with AEROPLANE for a little over a length defeat last time, but we will side with Simon Callaghan's six-year-old to confirm placings once again in a decent contest. Aeroplane was winning handicaps on his last two starts, both over 7f, and drops back to 6f for this conditions contest. He doesn't look altogether favoured by the weights here but he has a progressive look and has probably not stopped improving. Bonus is rated higher than the selection and is theoretically better treated than if this were a handicap, but he is finding winning increasingly difficult on account of his consistency. Turn On The Style lived up to his name when running on strongly to win over course and distance last time out and in the blinkers that seem to be very effective he also looks a serious danger at these weights. Medicea Sidera appears better over 7f, but ran with plenty of credit over this trip last time and if she handles the Polytrack better than when previously tried she should be on the premises, but Aeroplane is taken to continue his upward curve.
