Verdict

BOTTEEN is a confident selection in this finale. His course and distance victory in February has worked out well and there should be plenty more to come from William Haggas' gelding now tackling handicaps. Royal Caper may improve for his run at Kempton but is already exposed so Maid A Million, successful over 6f here in the autumn, is of more interest and preferred to Arctic Admiral, disappointing in an Epsom maiden last month. Seven Of Clubs is consistent but may need some help from the handicapper to get his head in front again.
