Classic Star was only caught close home over a mile at Sandown last time and can figure again over this shorter trip while Poetic Motion finished in front of Break Of Day when runner-up at Chelmsford and also drops back down in distance. It was soft going when Sussex Solo scored over course and distance a fortnight ago and he’s 4lb higher today but ABUJA posted a decent effort at the same meeting here on her seasonal debut and first start for Michael Madgwick. She has plenty of scope for further progress and gets a speculative vote to open her account.
