      Verdict

      Great News was much too keen when last at Newmarket behind better-fancied Godolphin stablemate Modern News but should be much better suited by this sharp track and is fancied to turn that form around with third Flame of Freedom. BOWMAN gave weight and a beating to the useful Rhoscolyn here in April and a recent third at Ayr was his best run since. Excel Power completed a hat-trick over 6f here in May but has only run over this longer trip once before and the penalised Ivasecret has more to do than when successful here on Saturday.
