Verdict

Thegreatestshowman goes on most surfaces and is back on the all-weather for the first time since January with Hollie Doyle taking over the reins. He finished ahead of Charming Kid here at the end of last year but is 4lb worse off. Lethal Blast won at Windsor on Sunday but has picked up a penalty and Vandad won at Brighton last month, though probably needs more to prevent BUY ME BACK resuming winning ways. Mark Loughnane’s in-form sprinter was just denied a hat-trick at Sandown under Elisha Whittington having come on in leaps and bounds since finishing behind Lethal Blast on soft going here in May.
