Lionrock scored on his handicap debut over C&D last month but this looks tougher with a couple of the opposition open to plenty of improvement. Subtle Embrace is one, as she won her maiden at Chepstow in August and a 7lb claimer helps her cause today, but a chance is taken on CLASSIC FALCON. She improved with every start last season and a big run is expected on her handicap bow with Paul Hanagan picking up the ride. Derivatives performed her usual trick of running well without winning when second at Wolverhampton last time with Chester'slittlegem just behind and she looks booked for a place once again.
