In depth
Verdict
Funfair came to the races with a tall reputation on his debut but was a shade disappointing when only third. However, this half-brother to the smart Carnival Dancer will appreciate the extra two furlongs and looks the one to beat with his yard continuing in fine form. Rasid has demonstrated enough ability to win a race of this nature and appeared to catch a tartar last time and rates a big danger along with Oaks and Ribblesdale entry Sentimental Value who ran in a hot maiden at Newbury last month that is working out particularly well. Newcomer Tasneef from the same family as 1,000 Guineas heroine Harayir is worth noting in the betting.
