Verdict
The finale can go the way of Reigning Monarch; Piccostar and Gone'n'dunnett are the others to consider. The selection has everything in his favour today as he showed when winning over this course and distance last time. That was an improved effort and he should be capable of following-up. Piccostar beat Ballybunnion at Kempton last time over 5f but she only just won that day and she is possibly better over the miminum trip these days. Gone'n'dunnett won on Wednesday night at Yarmouth but he reserves his best for that track and he may be vulnerable under his penalty. Mambazo is from a very shrewd yard and is worth a look in the market, but this looks to be a good opportunity for Reigning Monarch who can reign supreme again.
