Verdict
This is a competitive race in which Carte Diamond is nominated to get the better of Fire Dragon and Calomeria. The selection was quite useful on the flat and he made an eyecatching debut over hurdles when beating Iron Man at Newcastle. He looks as though he could be one to follow and we will make him the one to beat. Fire Dragon hails from the Jonjo O'Neill yard and he is a useful type, but his limitations were exposed in this grade last time when he finished behind Cerium, and a place looks the best that he can hope for. Calomeria was all-out to win an ordinary race at Sandown last time when beating Papini, and he looks held by our selection on their respective form with Iron Man. New Entic ran well behind Yankeedoodledandy last time and he remains unexposed, so he is another worthy of strong consideration, but we will stick with the potentially smart Carte Diamond as our idea of the winner.
