Verdict
Eye Of The Water finally showed some improvement for a steady slide down the weights when third at Southwell but stablemate Glamorous Force has done all his winning over the minimum trip so far. COOL SPIRIT looks a safer proposition as he added to last month’s course and distance success with a victory at Kempton and can effectively race off the same mark with an apprentice’s allowance taken into account. Creek Harbour went close the last time he raced over track and trip but both Portelet Bay and Champagne Supanova ran below par on their latest starts.
