        Verdict

        Lady Zanzara looks well in at the weights and is our choice in this handicap with Mighty Dancer and Titus Lumpus making it onto our shortlist. The John Hills-trained three-year-old is still a maiden after ten starts but she was second in a Lingfield-handicap in February and was staying-on at the finish, having reared up in the stalls and losing ground. She had been contesting better races than this over sprint distances but her breeding suggests that she will stay a mile. Mighty Dancer was a beaten favourite when second behind Magical Music in a Wolverhampton-handicap last month. A repeat of that performance here would see him in with an excellent chance. Titus Lumpus gets weight from all his rivals and he shaped as though the drop to this class was what he needed to get off the mark when four-lengths behind Christmas Truce over this course and distance last month. With little winning form on display it's not a race to get too heavily involved in but Lady Zanzara is our choice to lose her maiden tag.
