      Verdict

      PURCELL has the advantage of a run under his belt and can make the most of it. He just failed to catch the winner over track and trip on his reappearance last week and can open is account with improvement expected. Almalekiah ended last season with a victory at Wolverhampton and is only 2lb higher on his return while Extrasolar has been dropped 3lb after finishing sixth on his handicap bow in October. Seven Of Clubs was placed over 6f here late last year and had earlier finished ahead of Uncomplicated when fourth at Nottingham.
