In depth

Verdict

Golden Rainbow is the standard setter after compiling an attractive profile on his first three starts and is expected to set out to make all under his penalty. There are some interesting types in opposition though, including Dr Youmzain, likely to prove better in time and NEPTUNE LEGEND, gelded after a disappointing run last time. He'd previously posted a Nottingham debut full of promise and is worth another chance to confirm that initial impression. El Hadeeyah also looked way below par the last day, possibly due to the soft ground and she cannot be ruled out as her first two runs suggested she was more than capable of landing a maiden or novice stakes.
