In depth

Verdict

Four times a winner on the Flat in Ireland, SONG OF THE SKY has placed in all three starts since joining Charlie Mann in August. Two of those placed efforts came over fences at Stratford and having run well back over hurdles last time, she looks set to make a bold bid in this. The remainder all debut over the larger obstacles though Espion De Saflo won in heavy going over hurdles when trained in France and the same comment applies to Elisezmoi. Gregarious and Super Snipe should be sharper for recent outings and the latter has his first start after wind surgery as does Sunday At Augusta.
