      Verdict

      Childesplay hasn't progressed as expected and Miss Lillie may struggle in this grade. Something was amiss with Diamond Lady at Newmarket last time but a blanket could have been thrown over her, the runner-up Lady Horatia and third-placed Marjong when she won at Nottingham in June. With those three closely matched the vote goes to INTERCEPTION, beaten less than a length in both of her latest outings and looking capable of scoring off her current mark.
