Verdict
Teyaar is forwarded as one that can turn the tables on old rivals Firework and Shava, while Beverley Beau has claims at this level and could represent good value to make the frame. The last named does need to banish the memory of several poor recent efforts though and, despite being back on a wining mark, she is not one to trust implicitly. Shava has posted a couple of fair efforts since returning from a long absence in October. Franny Norton is riding particularly well just now and this partnership should not be underestimated. Firework was just ahead of the selection when they took part in a driving finish at Kempton last week and there is unlikely to be much room for error again today. However, Teyaar met trouble in running at a crucial stage last week and, granted a clearer passage; the old boy is going to take some stopping if he hits the gates running this afternoon.
