Verdict
Blue Empire, Hold The Line and Maybe Someday are three against the field in this claimer and the tentative vote goes to Hold The Line despite the fact he is still a maiden. The selection was a fair fifth behind Pukka in a class D maiden last time and with the drop in grade sure to suit he is taken to get his head in front. Blue Empire won well in similar grade last time when defeating Hatch but he has yet to prove he stays this far and for that reason he is opposed. Maybe Someday is another that could go well and he was a fair sixth in a much better race last time and a reproduction of that effort in this lesser grade would see him go close. Of the remainder Trishay is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Hold The Line.
