Verdict
This is a very competitive claiming event, Pregnant Pause, Ba Clubman and White Star Magic all have a chance, but on this occasion we will side with Man Crazy. Ba Clubman finished ahead of the selection when they met at Southwell last time in the race won by Largs. Man Crazy has two and half lengths to make up on that rival and has a weight disadvantage, however Man Crazy put in a much better performance in a handicap here in July and could prefer this surface. Pregnant Pause has been trying longer trips without too much success. But wasn't beaten far last time over seven furlongs, this drop back to six could be in his favour and he looks the main danger. White Star Magic is very lightly raced and drops to banded company for the first time today. He ran well in a Southwell seller last time and looks set to take a hand in the finish. So a very tough race to assess but we give our sporting vote to Man Crazy.
