In depth

A couple of these are penalised for winning including Plantadream, who returned to action with a victory at Kempton last month but EMRAAN makes more appeal. The latter made an impressive debut when scoring by over three lengths over track and trip and Ian Williams’ charge gets the vote on that form. Monya finished ahead of Zhukovsky when third at Wolverhampton on her debut but both have disappointed subsequently and are upped in distance today while That's A Shame looks up against it.

Emraan (IRE) 16-1 (9-2) Unseated rider on way to post, close up, headway on inner over 1f out, led just inside final furlong, pushed clear, won at Lingfield 1m stks (5) pol in Dec beating Marmalade Day (8-11) by 3 3/4l, 9 ran.

Plantadream 9-2 (9-5) Slowly into stride, raced keenly in rear, headway on outside over 1f out, went 2nd and ran green inside final furlong, stayed on to lead final 100 yards, won going away, won at Kempton 1m stks (5) pol in Jan beating Qatar Queen (9-0) by 1 1/2l, 9 ran.
