Verdict
Phuket Power finished just ahead of Bendy Spirit when a losing favourite in a handicap over track and trip and the latter had earlier finished behind Odyssey Girl in novice company here. Zim Baby had I'm Digby back in third when winning at Leicester last year and debuts for Mick Appleby’s yard on her return. The Godolphin filly Amber Island is another making a reappearance having run as though something was amiss at Newmarket when last in action but BADRI won over 6f here on last month’s comeback. Charlie Hills’ colt scored with plenty to spare fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time and this extra distance should not be a problem with more to come now handicapping.
