Verdict
It is hard to get away from Catherine Wheel here, and this one is confidently expected to land the hat-trick from Cut And Dried and Pure Folly. James Fanshawe's filly was a pillar to post winner on her handicap debut at Newbury, just doing enough to hold off the sustained challenge of Bee Minor. She was also a short margin winner of her maiden the time before and so was difficult to assess. She may be still one step ahead of the handicapper and against this weak opposition she should oblige. Cut And Dried holds his form well on both the turf and all-weather, his recent fourth behind Red Sovereign is decent form in the context of this event and a big run is expected. Sir Mark Prescott is represented by Pure Folly, who was beaten by Cut And Dried here in February but does have a nice weight pull and should be open to improvement. In conclusion it is quite a weak event and Catherine Wheel can make it three wins on the spin.
