Verdict
With the highest rated horses in this Conditions race looking lacking for form we're going to turn to SON OF THE CAT for our selection with Global City respected from a yard in form and Artistic License is also on the list with his 100% record at this track. The pick has been running some good races in defeat under a similar burden recently and his latest run behind Arthur's Edge looks better with his conqueror running a cracker in defeat amongst listed company on his latest start. The selection acts on this surface and holds the best recent form in the line-up. Global City can be a bit hit and miss but won his only start over course and distance and on the pick of his form is a leading contender. Artistic License is two from two over course and distance and is more than capable of getting in front on his day while a return to this venue should help him bounce back to form. Exclamation is an interesting contender but is yet to really prove himself on this surface so in a very tricky contest to judge Son Of The Cat looks on form and can score.
