In depth
Verdict
Another competitive maiden. Lunar Rainbow is a well bred Spectrum filly from a top yard and she would not have to be anything out of the ordinary to make a winning debut. Paso Doble has shown some fair form in hotter maidens than this without winning and rates the main danger, although he has the least scope for improvement in the field, having had the most runs. Zafarshah has shown some promise in handicaps but it would be a surprise if he was good enough to beat some of the well bred newcomers. Silver Mode is a Silver Deputy gelding out of a Known Fact Mare and he will probably be better over a longer trip. However any market confidence should be heeded. The remainder that have run need to show significant improvement to take a hand in the finish.
