        Verdict

        Hailing from a yard with an excellent record with their two-year-olds this term Al Dafa has to be respected but with experience already under the belt DUBAI SET is given the our confidence to finally get off the mark with Burgau Royal the only other we consider in this maiden. The pick has been running well in defeat and has held his form well without progressing in his last couple of runs. It is a concern he was overturned as an odds-on favourite last time but there¿s little wrong with the form and this could be an easier assignment. Godolphin¿s handler Saeed Bin Suroor has and strike rate of over 30% with his juveniles this term and Al Dafa is certainly bred to improve that record over this trip at this stage of his growth. Burgau Royal ran a pleasing debut when fourth of 11 in a Windsor maiden and with the form beginning to work out from that he could challenge the more fancied pair we've mentioned. Nothing else in the field makes much appeal and Dubai Set could just make experience count.
