In depth
Verdict
Rated 81, BEAUTIFUL BERTIE should have the measure of these. Roger Charlton’s charge just missed out when drawn wide over 7f at Newbury last month and gave the impression this extra distance would suit. Apres Dark shares the same official rating as the selection but is penalised for an earlier success and has yet to race over further than 6f but Vino Victrix will be winning soon judged on a debut second over track and trip. Be My Beau is more speedily bred than Aradena and Two Two Time of the newcomers.
