Verdict

A poor maiden with the fully exposed Bowser likely to be amongst the market leaders despite never having started les than 100/1 in six starts under Rules including when fourth at Clonmel a fortnight ago. Winning point-to-pointer GABBYS CROSS showed some potential at Limerick in December but weakened very quickly when tackling 2m6f at Thurles in February. He could prove better than stable companion Urabamba at this stage though the latter showed some promise at Gowran earlier this month. Take All ran quite well at Kilbeggan though that was over 2m3f and this could prove too short. Feelgood Island was a 125/1 chance for a race that has worked out well at Thurles in March but received a 90-day ban after being tenderly handled.
