Verdict

Unless there's anything decent among the newcomers, HAMUNDARSON should have the legs of these. Gordon Elliott's charge made such a promising debut at Leopardstown in December that he went off odds-on at Down Royal a month later but didn't come up to expectations. No Reaction couldn't get close enough to mount a challenge at Tramore but today's more testing conditions should play to his strengths. Digger Jack showed some potential over hurdles at Gowran earlier this month so it's a surprise to see him in a bumper but Powerful Out could provide the main threat after a narrow defeat at Punchestown last month before finding Listed company too hot to handle at Gowran.
