Verdict

Orange Square, Moon Bound and Prime Factor form the shortlist in this maiden and the vote goes to Orange Square. Moon Bound is a lightly-raced colt and his third at Wolverhampton last time behind Chivola reads well in the context of this race. He is open to plenty of improvement and should take all the beating. Orange Square has been running well of late but the form of his most recent has not worked out very well and he may be worth opposing today. Prime Factor is a well-bred newcomer from the Barry Hills yard and he has to be respected in a contest as short on quality as this. Mad Man Will could make some appeal if the market vibes are positive as the yard are very shrewd, but this looks a good opportunity for Moon Bound who gets our vote.
