        Verdict

        SEA CLIFF won with a little in hand at Southwell on Tuesday and can win again at the main expense of Irish Ballad. Jonjo O'Neill has had some success recently by sending his dual-purpose horses onto the all-weather. This gelding was stepping up to two miles for the first time on the level when taking that Southwell race and he saw it out supremely well to win tidily; a 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop him here. Irish Ballad had been in good form before his recent sixth at Kempton. That was a bit lack-lustre but it was a falsely run race and a stronger tempo today could see him bounce back. Colourful Move was widely fancied last time; the presence of Jamie Spencer on top today means that is unlikely to change. Fateful Attraction is a course winner and looks fairly handicapped now but still has stamina to prove, so whilst Dramatic Solo is another for consideration, it is Sea Cliff who is taken to win again.
