      Verdict

In a tricky finale, Satyricon is selected ahead of Deadline and Sweet World. Divertimenti is a little hard to assess based on his maiden win here last time but is certainly improving. Deadline showed promise last season and the step up in trip should help. Satyricon has at least proven competitive recently in handicaps and is lightly raced so open to improvement, while Alfresco has ability but looked a reluctant hero last time. Intersky Sports is your benchmark to the form, although he has been running in claimers of late, while Not Too Taxing holds claims on his best efforts but he has lost his way of late, although first-time blinkers are now tried. Finally, Sweet World has won two of his last three starts and, while they have come in claimers, he cannot be ruled out of things. Pick the bones out of that little lot then; for what it is worth, we are siding with Satyricon.
