Verdict

Handle with care is the advice for this small field maiden on soft ground, with little form on that surface for us to go on, but if pedigree is anything to go by then Norfolk Broads is suggested as an alternative to likely market leaders Montmorency and Spanish Baron. The selection will be better for the step up to this trip and her sire Noverre was very much at home with cut in the ground, so although she hasn't shown a great deal so far, her yard is now shaping much better and she could show plenty of improvement. Montmorency is Godolphin's debutant here and should go well over middle distances in time, but nothing in his bloodlines suggests he will enjoy soft ground so he looks best watched. Spanish Baron went well to be runner up at Newmarket last time but is another with going concerns and the same can be said of Rebounding. That leaves Itainteasybeingme, who has shown little so far but should act on the surface better than some, though we prefer the claims of Norfolk Broads.
