Verdict
Another collection of badly handicapped or out-of-form horses for punters to scratch their heads over. Lakota Brave fits into the former category. He is probably just about impossible to place off a mark of 80 and in all honesty, this is his grade. He has joined Nick Littmoden from Jamie Osborne but the regular pilot keeps the mount. The draw could be kinder but if he is fit enough after a gap, he will take all the beating. Inishowen and Alastair Smellie look to be lights of former days. Supreme Salutation could be the interesting one on his Lingfield debut. David Barron would not be sending him all the way South for the fresh air and if there is any money in the market, it must be followed. Quite a Night has bits-and-pieces of form and a positive jockey booking. He has ran well here in the past but his recent form is nothing to write home about. The TEAMtalk vote at minimal stakes goes to Love's Design. The draw should not concern backers of Julia Fielden's horse as he seems to thrive on threading his way through at the death. Jimmy Quinn has a decent strike rate on the horse and his booking should not be ignored.
