        Verdict

        CLIFF WIND showed major improvement on her handicap debut when runner-up at Kempton and finishing a couple of lengths clear of Star Of St Louis. Sir Mark Prescott’s filly can go one better with headgear applied today. Passing Nod has switched trainers once again having failed to figure on his only start in Ireland while Quiet Word finished in front of Comeatchoo when fourth at Southwell though the latter has better form on this surface. Chromium won a seller last year and may prove best of the rest.
