        Verdict

        This looks easier than when TERRI RULES finished runner-up over course and distance last month. He finished ahead of Superseded on that occasion and can go one better racing off the same mark today. Fareeq won at Wolverhampton before struggling under a penalty at Southwell earlier in the week though an apprentice takes over the reins for this and his allowance helps on that score but Mercers has failed to figure since scoring at Kempton in October. The rest have not been at their best of late though Cuban Spirit won off a higher mark last year.
