Verdict

GENERAL HAZARD came up short over course and distance on Wednesday when attempting to land a hat-trick. But he didn’t miss out by much and Michael Bell’s charge has an easier task in this. Major Ben is unexposed and capable of better having won at Wolverhampton on his handicap debut with Limonata only a length behind. Threediamondrings went close again last time having won here before that but Reckless Wave steps up in distance on her return from a break having won over 1m2f at the track during the summer.
