      Verdict

      AYR OF ELEGANCE was placed in handicaps here last year and should be sharper for a recent return from lay-off. He’s preferred to Darebin back in maiden company. The latter returns to this code having scored over hurdles here in November and is rated much higher over timber than Worthy Spirit. Treble Strike has yet to figure in bumpers including on this surface here last month but Marauder is bred for middle-distances and should finish closer after a recent debut over a mile here.
