Verdict

May Queen's winning run came to end when stepped up to 1m4f here off today's mark. But she had scored over track and trip before that and is not easily written off. However, AGE OF ELEGANCE is less exposed and she gets the the vote having won her maiden over course and distance in May and with Silvestre De Sousa taking over the reins for her handicap debut. Clarentine also has plenty of scope as she goes handicapping for the first time while Perceived found only one too good here last time and Faith Matters is another who may do better dropping back to 1m2f for this.
