      Verdict

      Previous winners Pinafore and Girl Magic disappointed at Newmarket on their respective latest starts but Clipsham La Habana is back on a winning mark and went close at Bath. Hydration won at Ffos Las on his handicap bow and there should be more to come but ICE COOL HARRY (NAP) makes most appeal. The latter landed a novices' race over track and trip when beating a subsequent winner and Clive Cox’ charge is taken to come out best now handicapping.
