        Verdict

        Bold Counsel, Phlaunt, and Oceancookie look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote goes to Bold Counsel. The selection was a good second behind Chantaco in a better race last time out and need only reproduce that effort to win this. Phlaunt rates the main danger on his latest third behind Daisy Bucket but he just gave the impression that a drop in trip would suit and for that reason he is opposed. Oceancookie was a one-paced fifth behind Fiddler in a better race at York and will appreciate the step up in trip so is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Danger Zone is from a shrewd yard that is beginning to hit top form but he needs to improve to score and for the winner we return to Bold Counsel.
