Verdict
A big field line up here, with Mr Bountiful taken to add to his course and distance victory ahead of Temper Tantrum and George Stubbs. Mr Bountiful, already successful here in 2001, added to his tally when scoring here five days ago under a well judged ride from Shane Kelly. He had found life tough on turf but seemed to appreciate being back on the artificial surface, and despite a small rise, is still well treated on the best of his form. Temper Tantrum was a beaten favourite here last time and seems to save his best efforts for Brighton. He has also won here in the past though and can make the frame. George Stubbs has joint topweight but Jean-Pierre Guillambert takes off a handy three pounds, and Nick Littmoden¿s five-year-old should not be left out of calculations. With four places up for grabs though, Mr Bountiful must surely bring a return if backed each-way.
