Verdict

The smart hurdler REDICEAN (NAP) could not have been more impressive cruising to a four-length success over track and trip last month. An 8lb rise may not be enough to anchor Alan King’s charge given several of today’s rivals were comprehensibly beaten on that occasion. Seafarer and Lord George filled the places with Primero back in fourth and despite the more favourable terms, they will still do well to reverse running in this. India won three times at Catterick last year and returns to action 7lb higher than her latest success while Soghan has been off the track since May but had shown good progress until then.
