Verdict
Godolphin can take this with Khor Dubai; Dubai's Gazal and Black N Brew are others for the shortlist. The selection won well last time when he got the better of Magaling at Yarmouth. The front pair finished well clear of the rest of the field so the form looks solid enough and although he is clearly no stable star, he should be up to landing this. Dubai's Gazal is a lightly-raced filly and although she was well beaten last time, she has less on her plate in this company so a case can be made for her. Black N Brew failed to get home over 7f last time, but he ran well for a long way and he has to be of interest now that he is dropped in trip. Paul Cole's Herring Senior has shaped with promise in maiden company and he has his favoured ground today. Khor Dubai sets the standard though and he is taken to score.
