      Verdict

      FITZWILLY is getting closer as he slips further down the weights. Mick Channon’s course and distance winner was runner-up over today’s trip at Kempton last week with See And Be Seen well beaten. Ayr Of Elegance won over 2m on the Polytrack here in March and can race off a similar mark while Oxford Blu has a shout if staying the extra distance though never troubled the winner when third over 1m4f at Sandown last time with Ulysses further behind. Linguine has been hurdling without success this year and hasn’t won on the Flat since 2014.
