In depth

Verdict

Sussex Ranger has been running poorly over shorter trips but Clondaw Anchor made a promising debut over fences when chasing home Diablo De Rouhet at Uttoxeter with the remainder well beaten. Court Liability was beaten a long way on his chasing bow at Hereford but was a smart hurdler and should have come on markedly for the experience. Sackett stays the trip well and would have to be considered if the ground quickens but CUBAN PETE (NAP) looks the one to beat after a convincing debut over fences at Hereford having scored over hurdles there in March.
