In depth

Verdict

Bobo Mac and Coillte Eile were winners at Chepstow last month while Last Quarter got the better of CHLOE’S COURT here. However, there was only half-a-length between the latter pair and the runner-up is a pound better off and may also appreciate this slightly quicker surface. A step back up in distance might suit Cawthorne Lad while something was clearly amiss with Colonel Manderson at Hereford and the maidens Gerico Ville and Benign Dictator remain unexposed compared to most of these. Beaufort West isn’t out of this either.
