In depth

Verdict

Destin D'ajonc clearly needed the run at Chepstow earlier this month but Luckofthedraw is more interesting. Toby Bulgin’s grey is having a first run over fences since January and was in good form over the larger obstacles around this time last year. Though still 5lb higher than his last winning mark, Jordan Nailor claims back 3lb of that. A winner over hurdles on this track 12 months ago, MISTER WATSON looked sure to make a winning debut over fences at Bangor until guessing at the last. Compensation awaits here racing off the same mark. Sheldon has fallen twice since scoring at Stratford, including here last month in the race won by Bill Baxter, but Walk In The Wild won twice at the track last month and a lack of experience or a recent run are not concerns for the lightly-raced Gamaret.
