Verdict

UPAVON landed his maiden over course and distance last month when beating the re-opposing Hard Walnut with the rest nowhere. The latter has since franked the form with a victory of her own and David Elsworth's charge is fancied to continue winning ways on his handicap debut. Groove On scored on his first start handicapping at Wolverhampton and should be thereabouts again despite a 5lb rise, while Kempton maiden winner Panther Patrol may also figure. Lager Time is a dual course winner but upped in class today and may struggle to go the pace.
